Living in different parts of the world, we celebrate different holidays. Let's post information about our favorite holidays here to share with each other.

We recently celebrated International Mother Tongue Day in our school. Many of our children at the American International School of Lusaka speak many other languages besides English.

In the United States we celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November. Our class made a slide show of the story of Thanksgiving.

Children in Beirut celebrate the day of Eid.

Students in Mrs. Arnett's class in Colorado, USA and in Mrs. Shatila's class in Beirut, Lebanon try their hands at building snowmen without snow. Mrs. Arnett's students were playing a game at a Christmas party. The students in Lebanon were working on their English speaking skills while learning about ways to save our environment by preventing global warming. Wonderful lesson for us all!
